My guest this week is my beautiful sister, Teresa Robinson, who is the founder of Teresa Robinson Yoga. This is where she challenges and inspires her students to realize their unlimited potential.  In addition to taking care of her family and keeping up with her corporate job, Teresa teaches several yoga classes and offers private lessons.

For Teresa, yoga is so much more than a way to stay fit. While learning the basics of yoga, she learned how to connect with her breath, which helped her overcome stress, anxiety, and depression. She focuses a lot on the benefits of yoga in her classes, teaching her students how to manage stress, get through crises, and rebuild their lives after hitting rock bottom.

During our conversation, Teresa shared how she structured her lifestyle and made yoga a priority without sacrificing her family. While many moms struggle with mom guilt, Teresa understands that pursuing her goals and passion is not selfish. Becoming a certified yoga instructor has made her a better mom, wife, sister, daughter and woman all around.

How She Manages Everything with a Side Business

Teresa was intentional about getting her family on board with her business. She asked for support, and everyone chips in. Her husband and children alternate cooking meals. Her husband picks their kids up from school. Her older children check their younger siblings’ homework, which makes her life a lot easier when she gets home after an 8-hour day at her corporate and teaching yoga afterwards.

Teresa’s Advice for Starting Your Side Business

Teresa encourages you to start right now, right where you are. Don’t wait until the kids get older or until you get that promotion at work. There are steps you can take to begin your journey, and they don’t have to be giant leaps. You can take baby steps until you feel comfortable, but just keep going.

Teresa’s Ongoing Projects

Teresa hosts monthly challenges on her Instagram page that encourage regular yoga practice and offer accountability. Her challenges are mixed-level, which means that you can participate as beginner, intermediate, or advanced student.

She also teaches classes at Lotus Mind & Body in Bernardsville, NJ; Burn Fitness Studio in Piscataway, NJ; and Onyx Yoga Studio in Warren, NJ.

This week I had the pleasure of speaking with a woman who I admire and love, and who has coached and mentored me throughout my journey -Tracy Lee Jones. Tracy is a women’s business mentor and Founder of the Feminine Business Model. She has coached, trained and supported women in over 27 countries around the world in growing their businesses.

Tracy believes that business was meant to be fun, filled with passion, and a magical journey where you get to share your gifts, experience deep fulfillment, and help make the world a better place.

During our conversation, she opens up about the steps she took that allowed her to transition out of a high-profile corporate job into the life she dreamed of living as a full-time entrepreneur. It wasn’t until after Tracy tried many different business ventures that she discovered her true passion for helping women build thriving businesses. Tracy encourages you to be ok with where you are. As you try new things, you’ll discover hidden parts of yourself and ultimately, get in touch with your essence.

Tracy believes that your business should be an extension of who you are. Before you can build your business, you have to know who you are and what’s important to you as a person. As you become more connected with your essence, you’ll be able to build a brand that allows you to be who you are, freely allowing your personality, values, and goals to reflect in your business.

Challenge: Figure out what it is that is going to have you light up like a Christmas tree, where your passion, energy, and enthusiasm rubs off onto other people. *Note: That is what you need to pursue.

Tracy reminds you to have a clear picture of who you want to work with and why. When you’re getting started in your new business, you may not be at liberty to turn clients away. But as you gain more experience, you’ll land in your “sweet spot” and know who is and who is not your dream client.

Tracy’s tip to help you launch your side business:

The biggest mistake that people make when starting out is spending tons of money and time working behind the scenes to create a product only to be disappointed when nobody buys. It’s best that you don’t wait and get your idea in front of real people. If you have an idea, test it out with some of your friends, or a small group of 3-4 people. Ask for honest feedback and use that feedback to improve your product before your launch.

Tracy recommends that you read The Big Leap, by Gay Hendricks. This book has been recommended before on the podcast because it’s such a great read. Hendricks teaches you how to break through your upper limits and achieve the success you desire most in your life.

What Tracy’s Working on Now:

She’s focused on helping female entrepreneurs take their businesses to the next level. During this episode, Tracy shared a special gift. She’s offering a 1-hour complimentary vision plan session (valued at $500) where she’ll help you figure out the next steps for your business. If you’re ready to take your business to the next level, you can take advantage of this special offer by visiting http://tracyleejones.com and Jennie, Tracy’s assistant, will schedule your session for you.

Tracy’s Words of Wisdom for You:

“You don’t have to wait until your life is perfect to start enjoying it. Be appreciative and have gratitude for what you created right now. You can do small things to create your dream life right now. Everything that you’ve experienced in your life has led you to this moment and the possibility of your vision.”

While Vanessa Merten was expecting her first child, she had a hard time finding information that she wanted. During her pregnancy, Vanessa spent many hours goggling and researching online. She decided that she wanted to make it easier for new parents to get the information they need all in one place.

That’s when Vanessa created the Pregnancy Podcast, which “helps moms and dads navigate all of the crazy awesomeness that is pregnancy, birth, and being a new parent”. The Pregnancy Podcast is a resource where parents can turn to for reliable information that goes beyond the typical pregnancy manual. Vanessa shares perspectives of moms, midwives, doulas, and the latest research to support new parents in their journey.

In this episode, Vanessa shares the inspiration behind her work and helpful tips for new and expectant parents.

Fear of the Unknown:

This is common for pregnant women as they undergo lots of tests, read information on what to expect when they become moms, but really have no idea what to expect since this is their first time bringing a child into the world.

Vanessa believes that the more educated you become about your pregnancy, the less intimidating it is.

You have the right to ask questions and make choices during your pregnancy.

Vanessa encourages women to speak up about their concerns during pregnancy and ask questions. She reminds you that you have a choice when it comes to certain tests, and that you don’t have to go along with everything your doctor says, if it doesn’t feel right to you.

How she manages her weekly podcast, full-time job, role as a new mommy and a wife:

Vanessa’s husband is at home with their son while she works. But beyond that, managing everything on her plate is “really just about being able to focus on one thing at a time”.

Quality time with her son and husband is a priority. Vanessa makes sure that she’s present during the hours that they spend together in the evenings. After her son goes to bed, Vanessa starts working on her podcast.

To make the most of her time, Vanessa sets a daily objective in the morning to keep her focused on what needs to be done that day. She uses her lunch break to get some tasks done. In the evening when she starts working on her podcast, she’s not distracted by checking her email or Facebook because she sticks to her daily objective.

How Vanessa stays motivated to keep going with her podcast:

When she feels frustrated or tired, Vanessa reminds herself of her why – that all of her hard work will pay off and ultimately allow her to spend more time with her family.

Vanessa’s biggest lesson so far:

That action trumps perfection. She’s learned that you have to take consistent action, keep moving forward, and not be so focused on making everything perfect.

Vanessa recommends that you get a copy of:

The Freedom Journal, by John Lee Dumas. This journal helps you accomplish a goal in 100 days.

Vanessa is working on…

Her new podcast, 40 Weeks, which is a series of (40) 5-minute episodes for expectant moms that end with a tip for dad. She’s continuing to produce the Pregnancy Podcast as well.

Vanessa’s parting words of wisdom:

“Just start and take that first step.”

A few months ago, I was given the vision and assignment to create an event for women who were looking for direction and guidance to help them live out their dreams and fulfill their purpose. On June 4th I hosted my Design Your Dream Life Workshop along with my two amazing speakers, Marcella Moore and Donna Izzard.

This episode is inspired by my workshop and the women who were there with me during this special event.

At the workshop, we focused on having faith vs. fear, knowing your identity and what you want, gaining clarity around your dream, your why (motivation), and the steps you can take to manifest your dream into reality.

More than half of my guests shared that they dream of starting a business, but they were afraid of getting started. They admitted that wanted to get started but didn’t where to begin. They are afraid of making mistakes, being judged, or no one paying attention to them.

We spent a lot of time discussing fear and how it can be deadly to your dreams and life vision. We talked about how fear has a way of making you feel like you aren’t good enough, that you don’t know enough, that people will judge you, talk about you, or not pay attention to you if you put yourself out there.

Everyone agreed that, if you’re not careful, you could wake up one day with no more time to follow your heart and be full of regrets

I don’t want that to happen to you. I want you to live an abundant, fulfilled life – the life that you deserve.

Here are 3 tips to help you manage and overcome your fear so that it doesn’t stop you on the road to your dreams:

  1. Tap into your faith or higher power. Connecting with your source will help you gain clarity and mental strength to believe that you can do anything that you put your mind to. All things are possible when you have faith.
  2. Prepare for success. When you’re prepared, you’re confident. Fear doesn’t stand a chance when you know your stuff and have prepared for your time to deliver. Fear is a natural part of the human experience. However, you can manage it by preparing and practicing.
  3. Feel the fear and do it anyway. Like Nike, you’ve just got to do it. Fear will not disappear. You have to acknowledge that it’s there, and at the same time, take away its power. Fear can only win if you allow it to. Learn to do it afraid, and it will get easier every time.

One last bonus tip is to give yourself permission to not be perfect. This will automatically take away your fear of messing up. Remind yourself that you are human, and that no one walking this earth is perfect. Allow your mistakes to become valuable lessons that enable you to learn, grow, and get better at what you do.

I hope this mini-training was helpful. If you’d like to read more about managing fear, check out my article in the blog.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this topic. Simply leave your comments below, and I’ll be sure to get back with you. If you know someone who needs to read this, please share.

Remember - reclaim your dream; do what you love, and make a difference.

With over 15 years of experience in the creative marketing industry, Felicia Wright enjoys mentoring mompreneurs and military spouses. She is the founder of Mygani, LLC, a marketing firm that helps entrepreneurs develop engaging brands. Her team shows businesses how to create a professional presence by aligning their personal brand with their company brand.

In this episode, Felicia shares her experience as an entrepreneur and how she repositioned her brand after realizing that it wasn’t the best fit.

How Felicia transitioned back into her home-based business with a newborn daughter

Felicia admits to not having a concrete plan at first. But once she made the decision to get back into her business after having her daughter, Felicia started reaching out to old clients and colleagues to get a feel for what was going on. Just by asking around, she landed her first contract with a local school district.

First steps a new entrepreneur should take to brand her business:

Felicia believes it’s important to create a personal brand first, and to position yourself as an expert or reliable source. People will always remember you as a reliable source, even if you start a new business down the road.

To get started with developing your personal brand, Felicia suggests that you write down three adjectives that describe you. Then think about how you would want someone to describe you using those three words. Continue to use those words in your content and messaging so people will associate you and your brand with those attributes.

Your personal brand and business brand should be in alignment.

When they are out of alignment, your brand may come across as being inconsistent. You may confuse potential clients, or turn them away.

You have to establish your brand before you can create a marketing strategy.

If you don’t know who or what you’re serving (who your dream client is and what your products and services are), then it will be difficult to create an effective marketing strategy. Once you know your brand attributes, you can create messaging and a strategy to attract your dream clients

How to set yourself apart from the competition:

Rather than focusing on your products and services, focus on the audience you’re trying to reach and who needs what you’re offering. You’ll create powerful content and images that speak directly to your dream clients, ultimately attracting them to your brand.

Felicia suggests that you read:

Miss Jessie’s: Creating a Successful Business from Scratch- Naturally, by Miko and Titi Branch. Felicia enjoyed reading their back story about how they started their hair care products as well as savvy business tips and inspiration.

“I felt so strongly about this concept and this business, that it never occurred to me to not go full force with it.” ~Leigh Kellis

Leigh Kellis is the proud owner of The Holy Donut located in Portland, Maine. She built her business from scratch after craving the comfort of a “deeply satisfying yet healthy comfort food – specifically a donut.”

As a newly divorced mom, Leigh experimented with donut recipes in her kitchen that eventually became her signature Holy Donuts. Five years later, The Holy Donut has two locations in Maine and has been featured in Elle Magazine, Boston Globe, and was named one of the 10 best donut shops in the U.S.

In this episode, Leigh shares her journey from humble beginnings to a highly successful brand, and some of the key lessons she’s learned along the way.

Putting herself (and her donuts) out there for the first time was scary.

Leigh took us back to when she offered her first batch of homemade donuts to the owners of her local coffee shop. She was nervous, but she was all in at that point. The fear was there, but she wanted it more than she was afraid of it.

She felt a strong sense that if she was craving that comfort food, other people probably were, too. She felt that a “handcrafted, rustic product” would be well received. Leigh also realized that donuts create a nostalgic feeling of comfort much like the feeling you get from eating your grandmother’s food. She wanted to create that feeling for people and allow them to indulge in a healthy, wholesome sweet treat.

Her orders quickly grew from one dozen per day to 40 dozen per week, then to 100 dozen per week. That’s when Leigh knew that she was on to something and would have to do something to keep up with the high demand.

Leigh took a leap of faith…

After five months into her wholesale donut business, Leigh could no longer keep up with the demand and work her job. So she did what any single mom would do, right? Not quite. Leigh stepped out on faith. She quit her job and decided that she would live off of the profits of her business. This was a courageous move, but one that had to be made.

“I felt so strongly about this concept and this business, that it never occurred to me to not go full force with it,” Leigh explained. Quitting her job felt like the right thing to do so she would have the energy to put toward this “thing” that she felt so strongly about.

When you feel a strong desire to do something…

Go for it! Leigh encourages you not to stop at go – just keep going at full force because that thing is calling you for a reason.

You have to show up every day.

Be prepared to “work your butt off” in the beginning, to lay the ground work and really get your business going.

In the beginning, Leigh did everything – she made all the donuts, iced them, cleaned up, hired and fired employees. You name it – she did it.

Test your market with your business idea before forging forward, which will reduce some of your risk.

Biggest Challenge as a Mompreneur

Leigh had to invest a lot of time and energy into her business, which often made her daughter feel a little left out. It was hard figuring out how to balance her time and attention between being a single mom and an entrepreneur. Leigh admits that she is getting better, but she’s still a work in progress, as we all are.

Leigh’s 3 Tips for Success

  1. It’s ok to make mistakes and welcome them. That’s how you learn and know how to do better.
  2. Ask for help when you need it. Don’t try to do everything on your own, and you don’t have to know how to do everything. Leigh has joined a women’s support group, which is helping her find balance between her life and business.
  3. Being in business isn’t about donuts (or your product or service). It’s about fulfilling your mission and bringing something good to the world.

Leigh recommends that you read

The Secrets of Six-Figure Women: Surprising Strategies to Up Your Earnings and Change Your Life by Barbara Stanny – this book is about the spiritual side of allowing yourself to have abundance and feel good about earning money

Leigh’s Parting Words of Wisdom

“It takes a team to build an empire of good.” In other words, it takes a team, and you need to build a tribe. Ask for help so you can bring more good to the world.

Yoli Tamu helps mothers and their teen daughters create a genuine heart-to-heart relationship. As a seasoned high school and college educator and founder of the nonprofit Unity Theatre Foundation, Yoli often met young women who struggled in relationships with their moms.

As a result of her many conversations with teen girls, Yoli created HeartVERSATIONS, a groundbreaking coaching program that helps mothers and daughters transform a mediocre or toxic connection into an unbreakable bond.

In this episode, Yoli shares some of the common issues that teen girls are facing, how she supports them, and how she heals fragile mother/daughter relationships.

How Yoli Supports Troubled Teen Girls

Yoli has worked with girls with different issues such as teen pregnancy, “cutters”, suicidal thoughts, abuse in the home, parents with addiction, and more. Yoli shares her personal trials with the girls so they see that she can relate to what they’re facing.

Small group settings help the girls bond with each other and realize that they’re not alone. By the end of her program, her girls have a new outlook on life, have grown, and are ready to work through their issues.

How Yoli Supports Mothers with Teen Daughters

Yoli helps moms develop healthy self-care and wellness rituals. You can do this by setting aside just 20 minutes out of your day to meditate or take a break, which will help you transition from your work day to being mom.

She reminds mothers of how important they are to their daughters, and that they have to learn how to be open and transparent with them. She encourages them to write out their past experiences (good and bad) and write the lesson learned from those experiences. This is cleansing for the mothers while it helps their daughters see that they are not perfect, and that they can talk to their mothers about their issues.

Yoli speaks directly to moms who feel like their teen daughter would rather be with her friends. She reminds you to not take it personally and to give her a little space to explore her independence.

Create a mother-daughter ritual that the two of you do together. This will create special bonding time that you can both look forward to sharing.

Yoli Recommends that You Read:

Mothering and Daughtering by Sil and Eliza Reynolds. This mother-daughter team gives great insight on how to understand one another from their own perspective.

“You can’t reflect the best of who you are on the outside when the inside is not right.” ~Uchenna Eboagwu

Uchenna Eboagwu, popularly referred to as “Queenchenna”, is a pacesetter on a mission to help people discover, claim, and live out their dreams.

She is the visionary and founder of The Life Circle, a marketplace ministry with a vision of raising and establishing a circle of passionate, compassionate, world-changing women around the globe.

A preacher and dynamic leader, Uchenna currently serves as associate pastor at Open Door Missionary Church in Laurel, MD. She’s also the CEO and founder of VIP Image Consulting, where she specializes in helping individuals and organizations create an image and/or brand that conveys their vision, ingenuity and purpose (VIP).

Above all that she does, Uchenna loves being a mother to her beautiful six-year old daughter.

In this episode, Uchenna and I discover that we have a lot in common with regard to our past experiences and the challenges we were able to overcome. She opens up about an extremely difficult chapter in her life and reflects on how her pain inspired her to begin her journey as a life-changing mompreneur.

Your Pain Leads to Your Purpose

Uchenna has learned that your painful experiences and challenges get you closer to your dreams, even though it feels like you’re getting further away, as you go through the process.

How She Manages Her Busy Lifestyle as a Business Mogul and Mom

Uchenna doesn’t have a specific system that she follows to manage her life; she relies on daily prayer to stay centered and moving in the right direction. She has learned that everything doesn’t have to be perfect or get done all in one day.

To manage her busy schedule, Uchenna chooses the 3 most important things she needs to do daily in 3 specific areas – her family, her church, and her business. This strategy, along with her mindset shift from trying to do it all, has helped a lot.

Uchenna encourages women to replenish and take a break so they don’t have to serve others when they’re empty. To replenish, Uchenna treats herself to regular manicures and pedicures, and she enjoys spending quiet time with The Lord.

Her Greatest Accomplishment So Far

Finding her purpose is Uchenna’s greatest accomplishment. Nothing compares to the peace and joy that she has found from walking in her purpose.

The First Step You Can Take to Find Your Purpose

The first step is to go to the one who carved out your purpose. Uchenna knows that the answer about your purpose is with God, and that’s where you must go first. When you ask, He will answer you.

You may not hear the “voice” that you expect, and it may not happen quickly. Be patient and listen. Slowly, you will begin to get a nudging feeling in your heart that will keep showing up to guide you in taking small steps toward your purpose.

Also, think about the things that you do well and write them down. Often you’ll find your purpose is intertwined with your gifts.

Uchenna’s Suggested Books

The Purpose Driven Life: What On Earth am I Here for? by Rick Warren. She found this book to be life-altering.

The Five Love Languages, by Gary Chapman, which was an excellent read that has helped her with personal relationships as well as being a mom.

From the Pit to the Palace, is Uchenna’s forthcoming book, and she’s very excited about releasing it soon.

Projects

Uchenna is excited about her VIP Image Consulting shows, where she partners with models for Philadelphia Fashion Week in June and popular brands, helping them convey their vision, ingenuity, and purpose.

May 4, 2016

This year I stepped up my game and attended Lisa Nichols’ Speak and Write to Make Millions event in La Jolla, CA. I’ve wanted to go for the past three years, but every year I found a way to talk myself out of it. I decided that I wasn’t doing that this year. I made up my mind that if I would go as a VIP attendee.

The conference was incredible! The speakers were great, and I got so much out of this experience. On my plane ride back to New Jersey I decided that I would record an episode to share my takeaways and golden nuggets from Speak and Write.

I hope you enjoy this episode and get something that you can use to help you take your life and business to the next level.

Apr 26, 2016

I often get asked the question, “Erica, how do you do it all?” People look at me and think that I do it all because I work a full-time job, run my side business, host and produce this podcast, and am a mom of three busy teenagers.

In general, women believe that they have to do it all in order to achieve what they want in life. I used to think the same way, but I learned that this simply is not true.

In this episode, I share my approach to getting things done, and it might just surprise you.  The purpose of this mini training is to help other women escape from the trap of trying to do it all. It really is a trap that can lead to frustration or giving up.  I certainly don’t want you to give up on your dreams.

My answer to that question is that I don’t do it all - I do what’s important.

I focus my time and energy on things that get me closer to my dreams and to living the life that I want to live. I know that my time is a limited resource, so I do my best to use it wisely. I could easily spend hours on social media, watching TV, or talking on the phone in the evenings after work. But that wouldn’t be an effective use of my time, and it certainly would not help me build my business.

How to Escape the Trap of Trying to Do It All

One of the first things you can do to escape the trap of trying to do it all is stop beating yourself up. If you don’t get everything done on your list, it’s ok. Tell yourself that you did your best today, and that tomorrow is a new day.

Give yourself permission to not be perfect – no one is.

Setting unrealistic expectations can easily lead to feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. Be realistic and set goals that coincide with your lifestyle.

Figure out what’s important to you. Start investing your time and energy into what’s important and will get you closer to living your dream.

Delegate tasks to free up more time to focus on what’s important.

Start where you are and take small steps along the way.

Action Step:

What can you do today that will get you closer to your dreams?

What will you do on a regular basis to build the momentum you need to achieve your dreams?

Write your answers down and commit to doing one thing daily for the next 7 days. After that, add something else from your answer above. Continue this until you feel that you are making the most of your time AND making consistent progress toward your goals and dreams.

Born in Israel, Edie Berg has lived in various parts of the world. She has also enjoyed a variety of interesting professions. Now in her “fourth profession” as the host of her podcast, The Strong Women’s Club, Edie interviews very successful women from different fields about their journeys. Through her podcast, Edie hopes to inspire women to go after what they really want.

How Edie Started The Strong Women’s Club Podcast

Edie started her podcast on a whim, out of her own love for radio and podcasts. She’s grateful for this platform that allows her to interview such an elite group of successful women, to learn from them, become friends with them, while teaching and inspiring women around the world.

Biggest Challenge Edie Faced when Starting her Podcast

Edie loves starting new things, so getting her podcast up and running with all the techie stuff wasn’t an issue. Getting good guests was a challenge in the beginning. Once she figured that out, she then had to figure out how to grow her audience.

Edie has learned that there will be different challenges in each stage of your podcasting experience.

How Edie Found Time to Start a Podcast while Working her 9 to 5 Job

Edie admits that it was hard finding the time for her podcast in the beginning. There are some things about podcasting that she loves and other things that she doesn’t love so much.

Edie encourages aspiring podcasters to view podcasting as a marathon, and to pace themselves for the journey.

Her children are teenagers, so she has a little more freedom to work on her podcast in the evenings after dinner. To work around family time, Edie usually schedules interviews while her kids are doing homework or after their bedtime.

Sometimes Edie works on the weekend and uses her lunch break at work to get some of her podcast tasks done.

Edie’s Tips for Aspiring Podcasters & Business Owners

  1. Have confidence and believe that, if someone else can do it, so can you. Don’t tell yourself that other people are smarter, have more money, or anything else that makes you feel inferior.
  2. Choose something that you’re passionate about and love to do. Take the time to find something that excites you and that you want to help others with, and that you see yourself being enthusiastic about for a long time.
  3. Once you make the decision about going after what you want, everything will fall into place and you will find your way.

Edie’s Self-Care Ritual

She enjoys doing cross fit exercise early in the morning before work and also started using the app, Head Space, to help her with meditation. Edie tries to eat well and get enough rest, too.

Edie’s Biggest Lesson That She’s Learned on Her Journey

That she wants to live without regrets. Even though her life is more challenging now than it was before she started her podcast, she likes herself better this way.

Edie’s Suggested Book

Women Don’t Ask by Linda Babcock & Sara Laschever

Edie found this book to be about the art of negotiation – why women don’t negotiate as well as men do, why their salaries are lower than men, why women don’t go out and get what they want, set lower goals, etc. She feels that this is a great book for women in the workplace.

“It’s all about evolution.” ~Natasha Grey

Natasha Grey earned a bachelors and masters degree in psychology and became a child and family therapist. After having her son, she began to question her life. The answers she received led Natasha to her heart.

She made a conscious decision to shift from treating illnesses to preventing them. Now her time and energy is devoted to well-being, wholeness, as well as mind, body and spirit connection.

In addition to being a wife and a mother, Natasha is the author of the children’s book, Everyday Superheroes, which she wrote to inspire young children to recognize their inner hero.

Natasha’s Thoughts on Leaving Her Job to Become a Full-Time Entrepreneur

Leaving her job was scary because it was a completely new identity. Up until that point in her life, Natasha wasn’t a big risk-taker. But she also knew that there was something to be said about recognizing fear, doing it anyway, and knowing that everything is going to be ok.

Natasha discovered that her fears weren’t about her – they were about what others thought of her. Once she was ok with following what was true to her rather than what other people thought was true for her, she gained a great sense of freedom and allowance.

Two Powerful Motivating Forces in Natasha’s Decision to Follow Her Heart

Natasha’s son and the idea of having regrets were her biggest motivation to walk away from her job and follow her heart.

She didn’t want her son growing up watching her mother spend her life working in a job that wasn’t meaningful. She also did not want to wake up one day with regrets about things she wished she would have done when she had the chance.

Natasha reminds you that this is your life right here, right now and nothing is guaranteed. She encourages listeners to seize the moment and follow their heart.

Conscious Living - Natasha’s Holistic Approach to Prevention

Natasha and her husband, Casey, created their Conscious Living brand to help people gain awareness around the foods they’re eating, the homes that they live in, and how they’re impacting their bodies and health. Her brand helps people shift to a humanistic way of seeing themselves so they make better choices that prevent illness.

How to Start Making Conscious Decisions about Your Health

It all begins with education and having a desire to make healthier choices. Start by recognizing that each decision you make impacts your health and wellness in some way. Instead of trying to revamp your lifestyle all at once, take baby steps in areas of interest to you. Small steps will prevent you from feeling frustrated and overwhelmed.

 Natasha’s Suggested Books

Loving What Is, by Byron Katie

This is an easy read with practical, actionable steps that you can incorporate into your life.

The Return to Love, by Marianne Williamson

This is a book that will help you get grounded and remind yourself of who you really are.

Natasha’s Projects

Natasha and her husband have developed a relationship program to support couples. They have The Conscious Store, an online store that sells fair trade handpicked, health food items, clothes and much more.

“A so-called good birth or a so-called bad birth isn’t about the mode of delivery – it’s about the experience the mother had and whether or not she was passive or empowered.” ~Selina Boily

Inspired by the birth of her children – one at the hospital and one at home – Selina Boily pursued her midwifery career at the Seattle Midwifery School. She graduated in 1999 and registered with the College of Midwives of British Columbia in 2000. Selina and her family moved to the Cowichan Valley and started the Cowichan Midwifery Group in 2001. She has over 20 years of experience as a midwife and a lifetime of passion for supporting mothers.

In this episode Selina shares her thoughts on motherhood, the birthing process, and life as a mompreneur.

Selina’s Philosophy and Her Why

Aware of the impact that birthing has on women and driven by her birthing experience, Selina is passionate about supporting mothers through the birthing process. Selina believes that giving birth is a woman’s “primary relationship” and “the first time that she falls in love and learns to trust her environment.” By supporting women through this miraculous process, she feels that she’s contributing to a better world for future generations.

Birthing Allows You to Write Your Own Story

Selina believes that giving birth is about being able to write your own story. She teaches women how to recognize that giving birth isn’t something that just happens to them, but that they are actively participating in their birthing story.

Selina’s Advice for Expectant Mothers

Pregnant women need to have many conversations with their health care providers. It’s important that they have a connection where they feel safe being vulnerable and sharing their feelings. Expectant mothers should be empowered to make choices about the care they receive during their pregnancy and the birth of their babies.

Selina’s Take on the Idea of a Good Birth and a Bad Birth

A so-called good birth or a so-called bad birth isn’t about the mode of delivery. It’s more about the experience the mother had and whether or not she was passive or empowered. It’s about if she could understand and participate in her birthing.

About The Matraea Centre

The Matraea Centre was a 10-year goal. It began as a dream that Selina and her co-founder, Kate Coyote, had to create a multidisciplinary health center that would become a community for birthing families.

Today the Matraea Centre is a central hub for alternative health and wellness services for women and families. The core mission of Matraea is to provide women with access to useful information, products, and services so they can make great choices for their babies, their birth, and their families. Some of the services offered include naturopathic medicine, massage therapy, acupuncture, pre-natal education, and yoga. There is also an online store with a line of pre- and post-natal certified, organic teas and cosmetics.

Selina’s Biggest Challenge as a Mom Pursuing her Dream

Selina’s biggest challenge has been finding personal balance while juggling all of the moving parts of being an entrepreneur and a mother. At the same time, she discovered that being a mother brought her to balance. The bond she has with her children reminds her to stop and do other things that are as meaningful to her as her business is.

Let Go of Cultural Ideology of Motherhood

Selina encourages women to let go of what they have been culturally programmed to think as mothers and choose to live their lives the best way for themselves and their families.

Selina’s Suggested Reading

The Green Mama Book, by Manda Gillespie

This book will help you make healthier choices for you and your family.

Selina’s Projects

Selina has partnered with Plan Canada and the Because I’m A Girl campaign to support young girls around the world. She is collaborating with Manda Gillespie, founder of The Green Mama, to offer products that empower and support mothers.

Matt Mawhinney has an extensive background in sales and marketing and has held positions within multiple levels of government. In 2015 Matt was introduced to the world of podcasting by his twin brother, Marc, who hosts a popular daily podcast for coaches. Matt realized how much effort is required to produce a successful podcast and knew that he could offer the perfect solution for podcasters.

Matt left his corporate job soon after and launched PodAssist, a company that offers “affordable, done-for-you podcasting services”. His mission is to save podcasters’ time and energy so they can focus on delivering their messages to the world.

In this episode, Matt shares his transition from corporate to the world of entrepreneurship and more.

How Matt Felt After He Left the Security of His Corporate Job

Matt admits to being a non-risk taker in his career. Deep down he wanted to have a business of his own, but he hadn’t found the right vehicle. Matt was just about ready to accept that he would be an employee forever, and then he came up with the idea of starting PodAssist. He wrestled with common fears that are typical for new entrepreneurs – like the fear of not having enough clients and making enough money – but Matt didn’t let that stop him.

Matt’s Strategy for Building PodAssist

When Matt decided that he was ready to start PodAssist, he didn’t stay at his job and build his business on the side. Matt left his job on a Friday and jumped into setting up his business systems the same night. He knew that he would have to hustle to make it work, and he did!

***Side Note: Matt’s story is unique. There is value in hearing his story and taking away what you can apply to your life. In no way is this episode encouraging you to leave your job without making sure that it’s the right choice for you and your situation.

Golden Takeaway from Matt’s Story

Matt took massive action when he launched PodAssist. He didn’t waste any time waiting and hoping that people would find him. Matt started having conversations with potential clients immediately. Some people were ready for his services then, while others weren’t. The golden takeaway here is that you have to go out there and hustle because no one’s going to just hand it to you.

Matt’s 5 Tips for Aspiring Podcasters

  1. Don’t be intimidated by podcasting.
  2. Join a community or reach out to seasoned podcasters and ask questions.
  3. Be consistent with the releasing of your episodes.
  4. If you decide to outsource editing, don’t go with the cheapest company. Do what fits within your budget, but remember that you get what you pay for.
  5. Research editing companies for a la carte services as well as customized packages.

Matt’s Personal Success Habits

While Matt was still working in his corporate job he used visualization to help him “see” how his life would be once he was able to leave his job and pursue his dream.  This powerful technique can help you envision what you want and pull you in the direction of obtaining it.

Matt’s Recommended Reading

Matt credits the book, Who Moved My Cheese?: An Amazing Way to Deal with Change in Your Work and in Your Life , by Dr. Spencer Johnson for helping him get through a difficult time in his life and shifting his perspective about change and how to deal with it.

Matt’s Projects

Currently Matt is excited about expanding his team over at PodAssist. He’s looking forward to growing his business and helping more podcasters with their shows.

Line Brunet is the CEO of CRAVE radio network and host of Find Your Groove, which airs live on Bold Radio Station. She is a speaker and a personal power and spiritual coach. Line is also a vibrant mom and wife, and she is recognized as a passionate connector of people.

In this episode, Line takes you on her personal journey of fulfillment, the process she went through to rediscover what she loves, and the bold steps she took to claim her happiness and freedom from corporate America. You’ll be inspired by how she spoke her dream into existence and answered her calling.

How Line Transitioned out of Corporate America

While working in corporate America, Line felt that there was something more. She had forgotten what she really wanted but also knew that quitting her job wasn’t an option. She often told herself how much she wished that she could leave her job and still earn enough money.

Then one day, out of the blue, Line woke up and wasn’t able to get out of bed. Eventually she was forced to leave her job. Instead of being worried about how she would manage being unemployed, Line was ecstatic! Her wish had been granted – she no longer had to go to that job AND she would still have money coming in.

It was in that moment that Line understood the power in her words.

How Line Launched Her Online Coaching Business

Line admits that her first year as a new coach was a huge learning curve. She was learning and trying to implement what she learned at the same time. She offered some of her coaching for free to gain experience and build up her confidence. To get the word about her new business out, Line talked to everybody!

Line’s “A-ha Moment” and Turning Point in Her Business

It wasn’t long before Line became overwhelmed – she was listening to all the gurus who were telling her that she had to use every tool and be on every social media platform in order to build a successful coaching business.

Things got so bad for Line that she was about to quit her business!

So she stopped and reminded herself of how much she loves coaching. Instead of throwing in the towel, Line decided that she would do it her way!

In an effort to simplify her business, Line began unsubscribing from email lists, opting out of software, apps, and scaling down to use only the tools that were easiest and most effective for her business.

That’s when she began having fun in her business again.

Golden Nugget:  There are a lot of tools that you can use to build your business. Find a few that to use consistently. Master them and make sure they work before you start adding more things into the mix.

How Line Balanced Being Mommy and Building Her Business

She scheduled her time and worked in her business while her son was in school.

She set clear boundaries for her business and family time. Sundays were off limits as they were dedicated to her family.

Line accepted that she had to build her business at a slower pace since her son and her husband were her priorities. Although this was frustrating at times, Line accepted it and made the best out of her situation.

Most Important Lesson Line Has Learned in the Pursuit of Her Dreams

Listen to yourself. You are the expert of your life and your business and you know what’s best for you.

Line’s Suggested Books to Read

I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings, by Maya Angelou

The Fire Starter Sessions, by Danielle LaPorte. Line thinks this is a great foundational book for new entrepreneurs, encouraging them to build their business their way.

In this episode Jennifer shares her journey to becoming a powerful motivational speaker and tips to help you get started down this path.

Jennifer’s Transition into Professional Speaking

Jennifer gained experience and confidence in public speaking throughout her naval career. When she decided that she wanted to pursue motivational speaking as her second career, Jennifer spoke her goal into the atmosphere and started telling people about it.

She was introduced to Toastmasters, where she developed her public speaking skills and became a polished speaker.

Although Jennifer did not have formal speaker training, she modeled her style after speakers whom she admired. She eventually learned how to craft her story in a way that kept her audience engaged.

Jennifer’s Advice for Aspiring Motivational Speakers

If you want to command a certain speaking fee, you have to perfect your craft, present well, and demonstrate why you should be hired out of all the speakers who can deliver a similar message.

Identify your target audience and develop your signature talk.

Create your mission statement and your vision.

Set a goal for the number of speaking engagements you want to deliver during the year.

Be prepared to speak for free when you’re just getting started.

As you gain more experience, you will increase your fees and/or adjust them according to your expenses.

Don’t be afraid to ask your clients if they have a budget. If they don’t have a budget, you can get creative and decide how to make that opportunity work for you.

Attend events and conferences where you can network with leaders and make new connections.

Jennifer’s Top 3 Tips to Help You Start Your Speaking Career:

  1. Do your research and decide how you’re going to step out as a speaker. Write your business plan after your research is complete.
  2. Invest in professional marketing materials to help people remember you.
  3. Network and get your name out there.

Jewell Robinson was inspired by her parents to dream big, think big, and do big. She earned a political science degree from the University of Georgia and has over 17 years of service in the United States Marine Corps.

As a Financial Specialist, Jewell’s daily mission is to educate people about the psychological reasons behind unhealthy spending habits and coach them into achieving financial security.

In this episode, Jewell shares strategies to help you make smart money choices and get the most out of your tax refund.

Spenders vs. Savers: 5 Different Money Personality Types

Jewell broke down the most common money personality types and why it’s important to know which one you are and how you developed your personal habits.

Most people fit into one of these categories:

  • Natural spenders – they spend practically all of their money
  • Natural savers – they save practically all of their money
  • Spend first, save later
  • Save first, spend later
  • People who don’t make conscious money decisions – they often find $20 here or there because they left it laying around

How To Change Your Money Habits

The first step is to acknowledge your habits.

The second step is to determine how you developed your money habits. Were they learned during your childhood, based on how your parents treated money?

The third step is to focus and be intentional about changing them.

Jewell’s Suggestions for Getting the Most Out of Your Tax Refund

  1. Contribute to your retirement account.
  2. Start a medical expense fund for costs not covered by your health insurance.
  3. Set money aside for a well-deserved summer vacation.
  4. Set money aside to achieve a specific goal such as buying a home, graduation parties, buying a car, etc.
  5. Donate to your favorite charity.
  6. Pay off credit card debt.
  7. Start a college savings fund for your children or for yourself.
  8. Start a savings account for your children.
  9. Finish an existing home improvement project or start a new one.
  10. Contribute to your church fund, tithes, or missionary work.
  11. Start an investment fund.

Jewell reminds you to not get overwhelmed thinking about doing everything on her list. If you have bills that need to be paid, pay them first. Then make a smart choice about how you will allocate the rest of your tax return.

Start small, but just do something. Even if you have to start by saving $10 or $20 a month, that’s better than nothing.

Jewell Recommends That You Read:

The Retirement Miracle, by Patrick Kelly, a great read to get you into the “retirement mindset”.

“Some people look forward to Friday. I look forward to every day because I’m doing what I love.” ~Jacqueline Miler

Jacqueline Miller is the mom of two sons, Founder of Jacqueline DuJour Enterprises, LLC, a two-time bestselling author, speaker, blogger, and a life coach.

When her children were younger Jacqueline admits that she believed that she couldn’t possibly pursue her dreams and be a great mom. After the sudden death of her husband in 2002, Jacqueline became “suddenly single” and so engrossed in being a single mother that she lost touch with herself.

In this episode Jacqueline shares her journey out of “the wilderness of her life” to MOGUL Mom, empowering women to pursue the life of their choosing.

Jacqueline’s Journey Back to Herself Began

Jacqueline became aware of her passion to work with moms during a conference she attended hosted by Lisa Nichols. It was during a conversation with Lisa that Jacqueline realized how passionate she was about helping moms not make the same mistakes that she’d made earlier in her life.

Jacqueline Cautions Moms to Take Care of their Health

Jacqueline recalled a time in her life when she neglected her health. She felt that she was too busy to care for herself, and later had some serious health scares. That was her wake-up call, but she doesn’t want other women to go through that. She encourages women, regardless of how busy they are with work and family, to make their health a top priority.

Jacqueline’s Biggest Regret

Her biggest regret was falling into the trap of believing that she couldn’t be a great mom and pursue her dreams. When Jacqueline’s boys left her home and she became an empty nester, she struggled with figuring out what was next for her. Now she coaches women and shows them how they can pursue their dreams while being attentive to the families. It’s totally doable!

Simple Steps to Help Moms Follow their Dreams

  1. Give yourself permission to pursue what you want
  2. Don’t allow mom guilt to creep in and make you doubt yourself.
  3. Seek out support and don’t try to do it alone
  4. Get your family involved in your dream so they can see what’s in it for them.
  5. Set attainable goals that get you closer to your dream.
  6. Connect with like-minded people who will encourage you and support your dream.

She lost 40 pounds in 9 months while caring for her two children and working 12-hour days in a demanding management consulting career. During her weight loss journey, Nagina was still able to enjoy her favorites - chocolate and ice cream.

In this episode, Nagina talks about her breaking point – when she was finally fed up with being overweight and having no energy – and how she discovered a new way of eating delicious food that allowed her to lose the weight and keep it off.

How Nagina Lost Weight by Eating Foods She Loves

As a busy mom and career woman, Nagina didn’t have loads of time to spend cooking healthy meals. She was able to leverage her time by preparing foods that she was already accustomed to eating by simply changing her seasonings. Before long Nagina had her secret recipes that all the moms in her neighborhood wanted.

How Nagina Channeled her Frustration into a Plan of Action

When Nagina reached her breaking point and decided that it was time to make changes, she figured out  how to frustration to create healthier eating habits. She researched and discovered that she could use most of the seasonings that she was already using and that they would support her weight loss efforts.

People often want to change, but they don’t know how. When you reach your breaking point, figure out how to pair your frustration with an action plan. Then follow through with your plan.

How to Stay Focused on Your Weight Loss Plan as a Busy Mom

Nagina encourages women to connect with people who are doing what they want to do. She joined Facebook groups and was inspired by the success of other members in her groups.

Success Tip #1: Make conscious decisions about who you surround yourself with, whether it’s in an online environment or in person.

Success Tip #2: Set short-term goals that you keep you moving forward toward your bigger goals.

Nagina’s Biggest Challenge in Pursuing Her Dreams

Her biggest challenge is staying focused on one thing at a time in her business.

She admits to being tempted to add new things (because there are so many new things to try in her industry), but she has found that being consistent and building on her existing coaching programs has added tremendous value to her brand.

As a result of her laser focus, Nagina has seen significant improvement in her coaching programs.

Nagina’s Advice on Discovering your Purpose

She encourages women to look within and figure out what skills they have that could be taught to others.

Born and raised on government assistance, Kimra Luna was inspired to do more with her life once she became a wife and a mother. She wanted to help people on a large scale but wasn’t sure how and where to start.

After discovering how moms were blogging and building businesses online, Kimra knew that she could make a difference with her passion for teaching.

Kimra was committed to creating the life of her dreams. In May 2014 she launched her business kimraluna.com and made over $900,000 in sales during her first year.

In this episode, Kimra takes us on her journey from where she started to where she is now, and where she’s planning to go with her online empire.

Build Your Business from a Place of Service

Kimra built her brand and her business by making genuine connections on Facebook. While on welfare, she started a vegan support group for moms and spent a lot of time answering questions and helping her members. Making friends came easily for Kimra as she is naturally outgoing and loves to socialize.

She quickly became known as an expert in her group and in other FB groups because she spoke up and offered solutions. People trusted her and believed that she could help them because of the relationships she had already established.

For women who aren’t as outgoing, Kimra encourages them to be themselves. Know your strengths and become known for what you’re passionate about doing. If you’re great at teaching, then do that. Whatever you’re good at it, do it with passion.

You Have to Get in Front of People

Kimra talked about the importance of putting yourself out there. Get in front of people so they know how you can solve their problems. She cautions listeners about being a ‘hidden gem’ or the best kept secret. If you really want to help people, you have to get over your fear of being in front of them.

Overcoming Your Fears

Kimra shared insight on how to overcome your fear of speaking in front of people. Once you start putting yourself out there, sharing your knowledge and teaching, people will want more from you. The more you stay in action, doing the thing you fear the most, the easier it becomes and your fear gets smaller each time.

Kimra’s Thoughts on Being a Mom Who’s Following Her Dreams

When Kimra had her oldest son she only wanted to focus on being a mom. She believed that she was supposed to set her dreams aside. But it didn’t take long for Kimra to realize that it was possible for her to pursue her passion and dreams while taking care of her family. She had to get over her mom guilt and get clear on why she was pursuing her dreams.

The key to launching your dreams as a mom is to know what matters most. Once you know what that is, do more of it. For Kimra, owning a successful business allowed her to retire her husband and spend more time with her family. It’s important that her husband is in her sons’ lives and that he gets to spend quality time with them every day. She can afford a lifestyle that she never had because of her commitment to her goals. She’s living the life of her dreams that she created out of her desire to make a difference.

When Judy Graybill’s relationship ended ten years ago, she joined the 70% of stepfamilies who break up. Despite their love for each other, Judy and her ex couldn’t find a way to resolve their issues and make it work.

She was heartbroken, angry and resentful and wanted to get to a place of healing and happiness. Judy discovered the Stepfamily Foundation, where she learned that her experiences were very common. She was able to identify the cause of her breakup and heal by learning more about stepfamily dynamics.

Becoming a certified Stepfamily Coach through the Stepfamily Foundation was a no-brainer for Judy - she wanted to help other families who were struggling with the same issues. Having a background in psychology and sociology helped her transition successfully into stepfamily coaching.

As a speaker, educator, and writer, Judy Graybill “helps stressed out stepparents and their spouses argue less and relax more”.

Contrary to what many people believe, having love for each other is not enough to make a stepfamily work. In fact, it’s the exact opposite and Judy explains why that is.

Biggest Challenge for Blended Families: Difference in Parenting Styles

Judy explained how different parenting styles can add stress to blended families. When both adults have their own way of raising their children, this can lead to arguments and tension unless they know how to communicate and work through their differences.

Another level to this challenge is co-parenting with the ex. Instead of having 2 adults raising children, blended families may have 3 or 4 adults who are involved. It can be very challenging to raise children in an environment where all the adults have different parenting styles and can’t agree.

Risks Associated with Unhealthy Blended Family Environments

Children who grow up in families with tension, constant arguing and unresolved issues often don’t learn how to have healthy relationships as adults. They are at greater risk of having multiple relationships and potentially divorce, according to Judy.

They tend to have low self-esteem and lower grades than children in stable families. In extreme cases, children drop out of high school or run away from home to try to escape their unhealthy environment.

3 Starter Questions to Create Positive Change your Family

  1. Who needs to change?
  2. What needs to change?
  3. How does it need to change?

Judy recommends that couples ask themselves these questions. She cautions that if you identify everyone else except yourself for question #1, then you may not be ready for change.

When working with her clients, Judy uses these questions as a baseline to identify the root of their issues. She co-creates a plan that helps couples resolve their issues. During their time together, Judy frequently checks in to see how they’re progressing and determine if any adjustments to the plan are needed.

Judy discussed ‘conscious uncoupling’ as a goal for blended families.

The term ‘conscious uncoupling’ applies to separated or divorced couples. It is the idea of being conscious of how your actions affect other people. When you are conscious of this, you are able to set your feelings aside and deal with them in private so you protect your children, your ex and others from certain behaviors directly related to your feelings.

This can be difficult for couples who end explosively, but it’s something that both parties can work toward. For couples who separate on a more amicable level, such as growing apart or falling out of love over the years, achieving conscious uncoupling is often an easier process.

Conscious uncoupling is beneficial to everyone involved. If you’re struggling with your feelings and finding it hard to cope, you should seek professional help.

Judy’s Tips for Starting A Passion-Based Business that Helps Others:

  1. Study successful people who are doing what you want to do. You can learn from their mistakes and discover what may or may not work.

  1. Don’t overextend yourself as a new entrepreneur. Think of creative ways of developing your business and avoid buying into every bright shiny object that you see.

  1. Work on your spiritual development. The more you work on your inner stuff, such as exploring your vulnerabilities and fears, trusting yourself and having faith, the easier the outer stuff will become. Connecting with your soul will help you face challenges in your business and in your life.

Sara Speicher is an international bestselling author, an entrepreneur, a mom, and a wife. She helps female entrepreneurs build flexible businesses around family time. She goes beyond marketing strategies, sales scripts, and confidence exercises. She integrates her consulting and coaching expertise and designs profitable business models for on-the-go moms.

In this episode Sara tells us how she developed an interest in consulting as a college student and how her early years as an entrepreneur felt like a dream.

After returning to her business from maternity leave, Sara realized that she was no longer fulfilled. In order to figure out the right direction to go in, she turned inward and starting identifying her inner strengths and what she was truly passionate about. Sara discovered that she wanted to serve her clients on a deeper level. That’s when she transitioned into business consulting and coaching.

How to Tap Into Your Inner Strength and Find Fulfillment

Sara recommends reading the book, Strength Finder 2.0, by Tom Rath and taking the assessment. This will help you learn things about yourself that you may not know right now.

Sara believes that as a busy mom pouring a lot of energy into your business, it’s important that you enjoy your work. If you don’t enjoy your work, it’s harder to stay motivated and keep going when you’re taking care of your kids during the day and pulling all-nighters to complete work for your business.

As Your Life Evolves, So Will Your Business

Sara explained how you need to make adjustments in your business as your life evolves. She gives the example of a family having a second child and how the business will take a back seat to the new baby. You, as the business owner, will need to make decisions about how you will adjust your business to fit into your new life.

As your children grow up they will need you to be present in different ways. Again, being aware of this and prepared to adjust your business operations will serve you well.

The same is true in your relationships. Be flexible and willing to adjust your business hours so you can devote time to your significant other.

How to Avoid Getting Overwhelmed As You Build Your Business

  • Sara recommends that you take a look at how you’re spending your days, weeks, and months. Make an honest assessment so you can see what’s going on in your life.

  • Write shorter to-do lists and focus on one task at a time. If it takes you all day to get done with that task, that’s ok. If you get finished early and have time left over, move on to the next task.

  • Examine your daily routine to see what you can streamline, automate, eliminate or outsource in your business and personal life.

Sara shared her tip on increasing your energy while closing sales. When she has to close an important sale or have a conversation with a client, Sara stands up and walks around to increase her energy flow. She suggests watching powerful Ted Talk by Amy Cuddy, Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are. Click here to watch this video.
