This week is a huge milestone as we are celebrating the 100th episode of the Moms With Dreams Show! I’ve been anticipating this day for several weeks now.

I remember when I started my podcast back in May 2015. Producing one show per week felt like an eternity away from 100, but now it’s finally here!

Over the past few weeks, I’ve heard from other podcasters that I am the exception in the industry – that most podcasts don’t make it past 20 episodes, let alone reach 100! I had no idea since all the podcasts that I listen to are successful with hundreds of episodes. This conversation was my reminder to stop and acknowledge myself for making it this far – something that I often forget to do.

Instead of interviewing a guest or teaching a lesson, I invited my listeners and previous guests to join me in this episode. After my extended introduction, you’ll hear audio clips of them sharing a few words about the show.

I am grateful for my community and want you to have access to these wonderful people. Below you’ll find their names, a brief bio, contact information and a link to their episode if they were a guest.

In this episode, I gave a shout out to John Bukenas, my podcast producer. If you’re thinking about starting a podcast or you’ve already started and need an editor, I highly suggest John. You can find him at http://audioeditingsolutions.com

Medyhne Lebachen is an Australian healer, holistic entrepreneur and coach. Medyhne uses her Spiritual Creativity In Life (SCIL) techniques to weave her creative magic and transform the world. Her name means “Divine Feminine Sacred Power” in Sanskrit and this is the energy that she brings to her soul mission to empower others.

In this episode, I asked Medyhne to talk about what a soul mission is and how she discovered hers. As you’ll hear, this wasn’t an overnight process and it wasn’t easy.

Medyhne shares her definition of happiness and teaches you how to master the art of finding peace in a hyper busy, fast-paced world.

“Our mind is not the master. Our soul is the master.” –Medyhne Lebachen

Her techniques will help you center your life, become more mindful and aware of your thoughts and connect with your higher self.

Medyhne mentions Thich Nhat Hanh, the global spiritual leader, poet and peace activist. He’s known around the world for his powerful teachings and bestselling writings on mindfulness and peace. You can learn more about him at http://plumvillage.org/about/thich-nhat-nanh/

After listening to this interview, I challenge you to take 30 minutes over the next seven days and focus on your thoughts. If they’re more negative than positive, get intentional about the way you think. Intentionally choose happiness and positivity. Life is too short to focus on negative, fear-based thoughts.

Next week we’ll be celebrating the big 100th episode! I’m SUPER-EXCITED and really looking forward to sharing this special moment with you. If it weren’t for you, the Moms With Dreams Show wouldn’t have made it this far. I invite you to join me next week to celebrate this milestone.

Until then – reclaim YOUR dream, do what YOU LOVE and make a difference!

Emily Hooks is an author, speaker and founder of the Forgiveness Academy™. Her
book, The Power of Forgiveness: A Guide to Healing and Wholeness is a
comprehensive guide to forgiveness as a healing practice. Emily speaks on forgiveness and her personal journey at conferences, churches, and other events. She also facilitates workshops and provides group training in person and online. To date, Emily has worked with over a thousand individuals and groups, guiding them through the healing practice of forgiveness and helping them realize their potential with the belief that as we heal, the world heals.

If you’ve ever struggled with forgiving someone, then you will truly appreciate my conversation with Emily. She takes time to explain why forgiveness is an act of self-empowerment and an internal process that has nothing to do with the person you are forgiving.

She walks you through the steps to forgive someone and she even talks about how we can begin to forgive ourselves when we make mistakes as parents.

This is an enlightening conversation that will help you understand the power of forgiveness and lead you down the path of forgiving even when it feels impossible.
